Cheri: Yes, they are Saltwater crocs, you can tell the difference between them and freshwater ones mainly because they are overall bigger and they have a really wide snout whereas freshies have a very narrow snout. Haha it's funny you mention fishing, our area, that river too, is home to one of the best game fish in north Queensland, the Barramundi, which attracts a lot of game fishermen from all over the country :P But no on swims in there. I will try and find a photo of a Barra :)
Sky: I thought the pictures were pretty cool too :) They made the local paper, but for the wrong reasons, they are thinking of starting a hunting season for the crocodiles :( I personally think it will back fire, because these crocs are vital for keeping fish levels even and for cleaning up carcasses etc in the waterways and knowing the knuckle heads around here it would be done "out of season" as well :/
