Talking someone can help me to write my CV? :) pls :)

Hi...
As someone among you know...i'm not english mother tongue, but I have been living in england for some weeks.
Well, i'm writing my curriculum vitae in english and I need help to translate it in the right way.
I need help for 2 among my jobs...
1) I worked with children and teenagers every summer in a summer recreation center: in english do you have one word to define this kind of job? Or I have just to write "counselor for children and teenagers in a summer recreation center"?

2) how do you call in english a person (usually a college student) who helps high school's and intermediete school's students doing their homework? By google translator I found "tutor" but I don't know if it is the correct word...

3)i worked with children also when my horse-riding instructor and me organized some game-activities to make children knowing the animal "horse" and its world
....how can I write this?

Hi, Mirta. I'm using U.S. English so there might be different phrases in British English usage. I think you've got it perfectly for #1 and #2. Counselor and tutor are the right words for these jobs.

In #3, I would suggest something along these lines: "Designed and taught curriculum utilizing activities and games for children to teach equine anatomy and care (or husbandry)." If you were the assistant to your instructor, I'd say "Assisted instructor in design and teaching....etc." or "Aide to instructor in classes using equine activities ... etc."

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Yes, internships are how we describe people gaining work experience in the actual workplace to finish their education. Examples are internships in medical fields, or internships with professional horse trainers. The intern can be funded by foundations or businesses, or a combination of modest pay/room/board/experience in exchange for doing chores and labor around the stable.

I assisted a riding instructor to teach children all about the horse and equine anatomy through the use of creative games and activites.

Mirta, I have lived overseas and had to conduct my daily life in a foreign language, and although I appreciated how easily the Japaneses accepted my odd use of their language, I also appreciated an occasional correction.
It's most important that you not be held back by fear and just go forward with English as best you can. Nobody will laugh at you.

What is your native language? Russian?
