Ive had a tough time the last few months....but

-I filled up gas for $3.29!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a gallon.
That is the cheapest Ive seen all year.
-MN Twins are only half game back from the White Sox and they play them tonight to hopefully get the sweep. and then they play 3 more games of the year against Kansas City....

GO TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!! lets make the playoffs

It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.

I've just finished the last ironing I have to do before I head back to uni tomorrow.

Mum bought me some beautiful cushions in vibrant purple and turquoise.

I woke up.

Sorry, but at my age that's a thrill in itself. The rest is gravy.

-I know I'll get labour market supports (something around 24 euros per day) when I start a labor political course in the next monday.
-Colors around me are wonderful (autumn colors).
-I have a crush!
-I have parents who love me.
-My emetophobia has eased off a lot.
-I cleaned today so everything around me is clean and shiny.
-My LimeWire works again.

Many thanks for this topic. I've been a little stressed recently so thinking good things is good for me :).

Well, a few months ago my husband was *finally* approved for disability, which pulled us out of a 2 year massive debt crunch. Thank God for his parents or we'd have starved and been homeless.

Then a couple weeks ago out of no where the SS office sent us a letter saying that because my ex doesn't pay child support for the kids (he's in excess of $30k behind - must be expensive to keep your new GF in Crayolas and backpacks  ) - we were eligible for a monthly check for each of the kids - plus back pay for the last 2 years!!! That was a major unexpected bonus!

Work is going good, for the most part. I've got a phenomenal boss that will support and back me to the end. I've got an excellent GM.
I've become very good friends with my Director of Human Resources and the Executive Chef. My best friend is selling her home and business up north and moving to TN to be next to me. Which is wonderful since Dashie packed up and left me all alone. If it weren't for my friend moving down I might have gotten so desperate that I'd have had to talk to my husband. LOL!! J/K!!

I'm healthy, the kids are healthy. While hubby's had his medical problems - ok, tons of them - he's still alive and kicking. He's got good doctors looking after him and I'm grateful for every day they can give me with him.

I live in an absolutely gorgeous area of the country that I truly love. Fresh mountain air, incredible neighbors, million dollar views. Life's pretty good when you stop and think about it!!

Great thread Kickshaw - thanks!
