spacy brain moments:)

You know those moments where you think something stupid, then wonder why you just thought it? Or those times when you do something, only to forget why you did it?

Well. A few days ago I got on my horse and when we were cantering I though, "Shoot! Forgot my seatbelt." then I realized that I was riding a horse, and I began to laugh so hard I had to pull up to catch my breath:)

Or a few weeks ago I finished warming up over a crossrail and got up to put the jump higher, and instead put the entire jump away, scooped poop, then turned out the lights and walked out. Then I remembered I had only been riding for 15 minutes and Rowdy was looking at me like I was an idiot:)

SHARE YOURS!!!:)

Sometimes I think my whole life is a spacey brain moment... A few days ago I was chatting to my housemate and telling her some story and I was meant to say that the subject of the story put his hands on his hips but it came out as "And he hip placement hand thing". For a late night screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show, my housemate and I dressed up as Magenta from the movie (her) and a hipster zombie (me) and I completely forgot we were in costume and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why people were staring at us when we went into the service station.

This summer I was talking to some campers and started a story with "hey wanna hear a cool story?" and followed it up with "my friend's house burned down"......ooops
For those wondering the cool story was that her Bible hadn't been touched by the fire but everything around it was destroyed completely

The other week I walked into the kitchen with a piece of trash in one hand, and a cup full of tea in the other. I threw the tea in the trash, slopping it all over the walls in the process.

A few days later I was rushing to get a quick shower before the kids got home from school. I didn't notice that I still had my glasses on until I put my head under the water.

I am losing my marbles.

Oooh I thought of another one! Not mine but my friends so I won't use her real name rather her camp name "Ebi" so we're all standing around the hot drink area in the lodge talking and Ebi is making tea she fills her mug with hot water and sets in on the counter, stares at momentarily and then sticks her hand into the steaming hot water a millisecond later she yanks it back out and splashes water on everyone around her and on the floor....silence as everyone just stares at Ebi and the mug now lying in a puddle on the ground then she starts apologizing and making sure nobody is burnt badly and everyone is laughing, we spent the rest of the week laughing about it and bugging her making jokes like "oh heads up everyone Ebis is making tea"

I have so many space cake moments like these I can't recall any. Only because I'm not sure if I said what I meant or meant what I thought.
