Storm is on it's way!

Why can't the weather people ever seem to have a clue what we're getting anymore? I've read a different report on every website that says we're getting 4-6 inches, 6-8, 6-12 or 8-12. They can't even say when it's supposed to start! GRRR!

I have to work tomorrow and am now worried about getting out to the barn :( If it starts tomrrow afternoon, I can't get there until the storm is over, probably sometime late Saturday. By the time they plow my community, it'll be Sunday morning.

When I was a kid, I LOVED snow storms and still do, but I hate knowing that I can't get to my boy during a storm. I know everyone with horses at home will tell me how awful it is trudging out in a storm to bring them in, feed, deal with frozen water buckets, and clean stalls, but I'm still jealous of all those who can personally check on and take care of their horses ALL the time...

Smart people listen. Not so smart people think they do not need to hear what others have to say.

Every snow storm that we have had this year has fallen on a weekend. Snow is only fun when you get out of school/work!

I got one snow day last year from work. Im hoping for more this year
It always seems to be my day to feed the horses when there is a storm. Im hoping its not too bad. I have a test in Philly on monday.

I remember when I just turned 18 and just got my license I wanted to check on my horse. My dad insisted on going along. By the time I drove the 10 minutes to get there the roads were COVERED. And it was late, so the plows werent coming till morning. That was a very scarry ride home for my dad.

^ Tomorrow is my day to feed too..... Hopefully it doesnt get too bad til the over night hours. My work harly ever closes for weather . They wait til you get there and then say you arent needed, what a pain in the arse!
Anyway hopefully it doesnt last long....

Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world.
