    Storms-Everyone ok?

I watch the news and see bad storms in so many parts of the county and think Oh gosh I hope poptart is ok in DEL or Kim_angel is ok in MD or Dumas is ok In Ark. I wish we could all do a "sound off" to check on everyone else. We are up for them again tonight, talking large hail and tornadoes all night
Batten down the hatches everyone east of the big muddy, its heading your way next.

We got a bad storm here a couple days ago where the trees where literally bending in half but they weren't breaking. We stepped outside to watch in the doorway and then chunks of hail started to fall. It was pretty bad but no trees fell in my yard or anything. The guy down the road though has a big tree that's maybe over 100 years old and its right in front of his house and it fell during the storm. There extremely lucky that it didn't hit there house or they would have probably died.

Aw! Yeah it was thundering & lighting like ALL night last night...it started around like 4PM but then stopped a little, then started again. Soo annoying...rain sucks!
But today it's off & on Sunny & Cloudy...I'm glad the rain stopped!

But they did have a tornado warning last night- I'm glad everything was okay.

Awwwwww Thank VIda... I worry about you up there in Twister country too! We are all present and accounted for... Luckily (for me) the storms this spring have either been north or south of us......They seem to be splitting here where I live (mo/ark border) We have only had to leave the house once...No basement to hide in...We usually high tail it up to Bill's moms, She lives alone and has a basement. She's about 10 miles from here so we have been keeping a close eye on the weather here lately so that we have plenty of time to head out. We've got our game plan and a surge protector... so as long as I have power I'll check in!

We had 120 mph straight line winds here the other night. At first they said 100 mph, just now on the news they said it was 120mph. I'm sitting here now watching another one roll in and the wind is bending the trees I did inventory in my storm shelter swept out the spiders and checked for mouses and snakes. I have my flash light charging now. I sure hope I don't have to go down there
