Stuck in the house...

Grrrrrr....

45 Mph winds, 28 degrees, wind chill +/-15, it's soooo cold!!!
Branches down all over the yard. Had to move an entire TREE all by myself out of the driveway to get the kid to school this morning, the round bale I put out Monday has rolled down the hill up against the fence. I'm not going outside!! Neither are the horses, they are hunched up in the barn. Every once in a while a huge branch falls on the roof and gives me a heart attack!

GRRRR!!!!

Hows it in your neck of the woods? Hope you are all safe from the storms!!

That's no good! I hope things start to turn around for y'all.

This is definitely one of those times that I'm glad I live in the south. It's 68* and sunny here. The warm weather is nice but it's just not supposed to be almost 70* on Christmas day like the forecast is showing so far.

Well past few days its been windy, today calm high of 55 I think woke up at 6 and it was like 14 degrees ice everywhere. I do not enjoy the cold for the most part but can't complain its been pretty mild so far.

Same wind here - 40 gusting at 45, and 35 degrees. We actually had some snow flurries this morning. Back up in the 50's tomorrow, but today sucks. I had the devil of a time lighting the pellet stove this morning - the pellet stove has a horizontal exhaust chimney and the high wind is coming from just the right direction to blow into it...

Frickin' cold! Yesterday we barely broke freezing, but it's sunny. Today, it's supposed to be 44F, but I don't see it happening.
