Twenty some degrees, high winds, SNOW...blizzard like. All the schools closed today and some have already cancelled for tomorrow. Sigh...means my brother might be home again from school.

I hate snow. So much. All this talk about a White Christmas makes me sick.

Wow, fly...that is to cold! I hope it has improved! The wind came howling through here yesterday, too. We had purchased and set a stack of rubber stall mats on the ground the day before for a project...and those things are heavy....and the wind actually blew one about 20 feet and "rearranged" the others (they were still stacked, just not as evenly)....I couldn't believe it!

Cold here. Getting down to 24F....unusual for Dec.

Stay warm, you!

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

That is quite the weather FlyGap!
Stay inside and stay safe.

My area is in between rain and snow right now so we have this lovely slush covering every bit of the roads and trees.

Heavy rain all night (and it started earlier than expected, so I didn't have a chance to ride in eve :( ). Now 2 days of wind. Too bad...

Really heavy rain all night and it's still pouring down. Also some pretty fierce winds. Clearly I wasn't paying attention to the weather reports because I wasn't expecting it at all.

Our back yard/lower field are flooding as we speak. Ugh!

30 degrees & 5 degrees including wind chill. 40-50 mph winds. Yesterday was UGLY!!! Today we're supposed to get some sun, but schools already have a 2 hour delay. We went from grass to 12" of snow in 24 hours

Turning nasty here as I type, but that is typical of the weather here.
I also do not like the cold. When it is below freezing I get grumpy and stay grumpy.
Had to run to the store for some last minute groceries yesterday. I live in the country, but the ckeck out kid was a city kid and would not shut up about how excited he was that snow was coming. Talked non-stop about the snow, sledding in it, playing in it, missing work, never driving his precious car in it, and how he wished it would snow two feet or more....
I wanted to just choke him and yell "Hey, I have to work and drive in this stuff!"

Hey Lockwood, keep the snow on your side of the border kay? Kay!

I hate the stuff. Well, let me qualify that, I love the first big storm where everything is all silent and soft and white and pretty. Then about 2 seconds after it stops I want it all to go away!

I'll do my best!
I'm exactly like you... let me look at the stuff for five minutes, then only in pictures after tht and I will be just fine.

Whew guys! Sounds nasty, hope you all can dig out or stay warm!

The wind JUST now slowed up. Faceman I had the same problem, we got a new wood stove Wednesday and the first time we started it up we smoked ourselves out!! It was horrible. Finally opened a window and that helped the draft start working right, duh! I felt so silly.

Took me an extra 30 mins to get the kid to school this morning because I had to stop every 10 feet and clear branches out of the drive, then almost died dodging down trees on the hwy.

Sounds like we are going to have our 3rd in a row white Christmas. But they keep saying the evil word ICE, I want to choke the weather man. :)
