It was 96F today with the humidity at 86%.
Felt like a sauna whenever I walked outside.

I was cooking at work today, but it was no where near what some of you have had!

Have a daughter who is riding for a guy in TX. They leave for Colorado Tuesday and she is one happy chica.

Today the thermometer on the side of the barn read 39, on the water it was 33. So about 102 and 91 respectively and man... considering it normally sticks close to 22 - 25 here until mid August I was really dying We went for lunch to try and get out of the heat and the restaurant had no AC AND sat us right next to the hot kitchen door... ):

Ugh, I hate summer. I hate being hot and I really dont like having to peel my clothes off of me. It makes everything more difficult. I dont mind winter one bit. I figure if I'm outside and cold, I'm not working hard enough. I can work up a sweat on the coldest of days. I've been ready for summer to be over for at least a month now. Plus, my bank account really doesn't like the significant increase in my eletric bill. Come on fall!

This is what happens when you have democrats in office

I hate heat, anytime it starts climbing towards 80 I consider it hot. Luckily we usually only have to put up with high 90's low 100's for a couple weeks a year. We are having what is suppose to be 3 days in a row of low 90's starting yesterday and all the news channels are calling it a heat wave.

It's cool enough most homes don't even have built in AC units, we just suffer for those two weeks or buy a window unit.
