Yep...I got a phone call today. I've been booked as an emergent case first thing monday morning  I've got a loose screw that needs to come out ASAP. That would explain why I have been so sore for the last couple weeks, go figure.
I was supposed to fly out on vacation for 2 weeks on sunday, I guess I'll be staying home now.
Come on! you all knew I had a loose screw, not news to anyone  thank you so much everyone for all the support. A blessing is disguise really to get this done so quickly just wasn't expecting it.
I didn't have insurance on the plane ticket but was able to guilt the operator into giving me a refund back(another blessing really). I guess I'll have to trut my butt in California some other time :?
Thank you for all the support everyone, you are all fantastic (as always) one of those weeks it seems. :-|
Oh Kelly!! How on Earth did I miss this thread??!?! Best of luck to you, but you don't need that - you'll do just fine, and be better for it. Go get that screw screwed back in so you can ride with me soon!! Please call me if I can do anything for you
you know... i have a screw driver here at the house... we could save you some money.... I'm assuming we are just talking about a pelvis screw right? maybe something to do w/ a hip? I can't possibly "screw" it up any worse then it already is... and I'll just charge you.. $5000!
Teehee... a friend of mine got a screw removed from her ankle (her horse jumped on her and shattered her leg) anyway, that's what the bill was.... 5k for a less than five minute procedure! AMAZING!
PS - did you ever go to disneycruise.com and check out that pirate cruise sailing they are having? they have cast from the movie on it....

Considering the carrots in your "care" that get withered and shriveled from being "bronzed" I would be very worried if I saw you coming at me with a big screwdriver in your hand !!!!!:shock:
yes, me and Farmpony could do it. I would not charge anything
for my services, but you have to know going in that we don't have
x-ray equipment. So we would have to use the ol trial and error
method of drilling holes with my cordless drill until we found the
loose screw, We use wd-40 for lubricant as to cut down on the friction
doing the drilling process. Once the trouble-some loose screw is
found we could take it out or put locktite on it to help keep it tight
so the loose screw would stay put.
(notice, if the so called Loose Screw is frozen in place and will not
move, use of more agressive tools might have to be used. Heating
the Loose Screw to not quite red hot usually will free up any Loose
Screws and this provides a secondary benefit as it will stop any
unneccessary bleeding from the operating sight of said Loose Screw.
also we will use Jack daniels as a antiseptic pouring into the site of
the operation. We also will use the Jack Daniels to help with calming
of the nerves. We both will be drinking double shots to help any shaking
of our hands so that will give you a calming effect so you will not worry
as to thinking we know what we are doing.)
I can't believe I missed this thread either. I feel like a bad bad forum friend :-(
Hope you are recovering nicely and that they put some loctite on that screw.
 it's ok. As you've probably noticed over the last few days I've replied at least once to every topic on this forum  so I'm keeping busy and doing well. Lovely get well kitten Thank you Vida *HUGS*
Glad they found that out before it caused you more pain and discomfort!!
