AT&T upgrade question

We have AT&T. My sister is getting a phone this summer. I upgraded to an iPhone last summer. My mom and dad also have phones (not smart phones.) We have the two year contract. Does anyone know about the AT&T Next installment plan? Our account says we are eligible. What is it, does it cost extra? Would it allow me to upgrade even though my contract's not up for another year?

ATT Next is independent of your cell phone service contract, it is basically an installment payment plan for the smart phone, I.e. An installment payment for the phone will be added to your bill each month. You do have to pay the sales tax when you get a new phone and keep your cell service active at least until the phone is paid off. If you terminate your ATT service, you'll have to pay the balance on the phone.

Look into

They are owned by ATT and have NO Contract, Lower Monthly Fees, you can bring your own phone or buy one from them at a fair price and of course they use 100% ATT Cell Towers

FYI, anyone reading this if you like Verizon Cell Towers you can get the same No Contract, Great prices, bring your own phone or buy one from Welcome to Straight Talk
