Tattoos

Hey Everyone!
I want to get a tattoo soon but i'm not quite sure what I want. I want it to represent my horse mainly but I don't want an entire horse on my body plus I want it somewhat unique. Does anyone have ideas?

Maybe you can do his portrait, and have his name in his mane somewhere, or even his hoof prints, there's a lot of possibilities people can come up with, esp an artist. :) Hope this helps!!

Oh, Lord. Google "horse tattoos" .. they are EVERYWHERE ..

Just go to a GOOD tattoo artist .. nothing worse than a tacky tat.

Here's what mine looks like:

Not a very good picture unfortunately but I think you get the idea. Most people can't figure out what it is though lol. I like the stylized tribal stuff, and I drew the design up myself. I have a couple of sketches you can use if you'd like. I can upload later when I get home if you're interested.
KissTheRing and CLaPorte432 like this.

That is awesome!! Love it!! Tribal art is amazing, and that you drew it you self, even better, one of a kind and personalized. :)

Here's mine I doubt it's what you're looking for, but I thought I'd just chuck it out there Oh yeah, and if the top half looks a bit odd (from the shoulder up), that was straight after the final sitting, where Brownie finished off that bit, so it was still healing, whereas the rest wasn't

I have very classical classy whimsical horses so for myself Im getting a carousel horse -Because they always look so wild and free but refined- I just love the whole concept! And I don't mind sharing it either haha

I think you should consider a style, then what you want it to symbolize. I also went the tribal wrote then chose a pose that represented play and freedom, while encompassed in an unfinished circle. That was kind of a circle of life, but its hard to know what is the start or the finish but there is always room to let things in or out of your life.

So I went off that then came up with a design, gave it to an artist, he tweaked it around more then got what I wanted. Make sure it will mean something or represent something important and will be something you will love forever.
