There's a squatter in our barn

Arizona has been hiding a friend, rent-free, in his stall.

I couldn't get a picture because he ran off before I could get the camera. But he looks a lot like this guy:

He came hippity hopping out of AZ's stall while the farrier was trimming AZ's hooves.

They are so cute. Unfortunately, Solon is deathly afraid of our barn bun-buns! It's so funny to watch him creep out of the barn looking both ways, cause he knows they are going to get him!

You must have horse-eating buns. I've heard of them, they are ferocious.

They are!!!

We have so many buns this year. Must have been a good breeding year.

Awwwww! I wish I had more around my house. But with seven specially bred mousing cats in your barn, you don't get to see anything but the occasional leg or tuft of fur =(

My barn cat likes to catch the baby bunbuns. And I tries to save as many as I could, but he killed one. *sniffsniff*

True story. We had a few mice in our hay loft, so we looked into getting barn cats. Then husband realized, "If we get cats, the bunnies die" and the idea of getting cats quickly disappeared

He's a big softie too. We found other means to curb the mouse problem.
