I am just stunned. For her to be that advanced in her cancer and not know it is very odd. So often a person suffers for months with such bone cancers. It is truly a sad blessing that shw went before suffering a long time.
My condolences to you and her family. What a shocking loss.
So sorry for your friend's diagnosis. May God cover her and her family with his wisdom and protection, make their journey bearable and bring peace and comfort. Prayers for you as well, I understand too well your sadness.
Thank you everyone. It really has been such a big shock. I was in the arena yesterday, looking up at the house to see if she was there. Then I remembered she is gone. I miss her advice and her way of saying things that made me laugh.
Tiny, I agree with you that it was strange to happen this quickly. I think Debbie hated going to the doctor. Her husband had been going for a number of things and recently had a surgery. I think she was focused on his health and not her own. Plus she was tough as could be. She broke her ankle about 4 yrs ago and I know it still bothered her. I think she just thought all that pain went with getting older, but she was in her early 60's.
Well, again, thanks for your support and thoughts. It makes me feel better when I read your messages.
