At least you can hear the sirens. We are far enough from town we don't hear a them. We rely on the TV which is satellite. We lose the signal when the clouds are thick so we pretty much have to look out the window
Thank God for the computer, I can now go to the weather channel and keep up.
Glad to hear you are OK. Unfortunately the season is just beginning Seems we get the most in June.

I'm glad you're okay. And good luck with the upcoming season. Hope it's so tornadoless than possible.

We don't have tornadoes over here but the last days have been pretty stormy & rainy. Wind has even knocked down trees & caused some power cuts in the mid/east parts of the country.

Thanks all. I got some video that is pretty bad. I shot it with my digital camera and only had about 2:49 seconds of space. I tried to get some pix but the video wiped my batteries and I didn't have anymore. :( It is not very good but here it is. Please don't laugh at my terrible hick accent or the panic in my voice. No sooner did I stop filming than the sirens went off again so I went to go hide in a closet with my cats. :)

I know what you mean! I used to always love storms - watching the lightening etc. After having a near miss with a tornado (I still felt the brunt of it) I am petrified of storms. Why I won't move to TX or OK!!! Good luck!!
Do the animals just have to fend for themselves?

LOL just watched the video! Ammy storm chaser! I know what you mean about the mustardy color - the one I went through the sky turned a yellowish, brownish, greyish color - lots of hail and lots of wind.

    Wishing you calm skies!!!

Yep, all the horses just kinda have to find what cover they can and hope for the best. Unfortunately, all our dogs are tied up in the barn so if the barn goes, so do the dogs :( You should have seen me trying to herd all my silly cats into the closet when the sirens went off. SCARY!!
