Tornado Warning/Rain Storm

We had a tornado warning this afternoon and a sudden rain storm. Was pretty cool. My brother managed to carry me over to my car(not a pretty sight)and we went out for a drive.








...and a random photo of puppy. The poor guy was pretty scared in the car as the hail hit the roof of the truck(it was really loud), he put his head into my brother's arm.

Yikes =( Was it a Tornado Warning, or a Tornado Watch?

It was a warning They don't happen often around here.

I was going to say......tornado warning???? In CANADA????? Wow, scary. I know how you feel, that is freaky for ya'll to have storms like that isn't it? Those are really cool pix, it looks like it is only partly cloudy off in the distance a ways. The dog is adorable.

And BTW, will you kindly send our weather back down here? ROFLOL.

I know! We had really strange weather today! Bleh!!

We had tornado warnings and watches basically all summer a couple years ago in southern Alberta. Had a whole load of sudden storms, funnel clouds, tornados, floods. Tons of damage. Was a rough year. We had a tornado warning today acctually.

It was pretty interesting weather for sure! We came into Calgary to get some hardwood floor and drove right thru that! It was raining REALLY hard!

I will have to ask my sister if I can post some of her pictures. She lives in Red Deer and they had a small tornado hit down there last week and she got some great pictures!

Wow, things like tornadoes, erupting volcanos, eartquakes etc. really intrique me (it's easy to say because we haven't any of those here or if we have them are pretty mild and usually don't cause damages).
