Tornado Weather

I just would like to know, who here was close to those tornadoes? Or know of someone really close? That weather has gotten So crazy! My prayers go out to all of you facing clean up or any devastation you encountered.

Scary stuff. I have good friends in NC, all okay and just some minor wind damage. The pictures on the news have been devestating. Our town was wiped out in the early 70's, my mom has some pretty unbelievable pictures.

There were a handful or tornadoes in my area...not very pleasant. I hate them! I've been having nightmares of 'em since I was little :P

I think here in Mississippi is supposed to get some bad weather tomorrow. Last major tornado my town had was three years ago. Did significant damage, but no deaths, the rest are either funnel clouds or didn't hit any major towns

I'm in Tennessee. We're getting some tonight, tomorrow, and then the day after I believe. Ya just get used to it after a while. We've been through plenty, and only had some minor damage to the barn *knock on wood*

Luckily the closest one to us here in NC was about 20 miles away. No damage here...just hurricane like wind and rain for about 30 minutes. Didn't appear to bother the mares at all...they just stood in a group, heads down, butts into the wind, and as soon as the driving rain stopped, they were back to wandering around grazing like it was no big deal.

Ouch... sounds not so nice.

Crossing my fingers for you all who have tornadoes around your corners and wishing that they won't hit you (nor anyone else).

We were kept up all last night because of weather. No tornadoes...just 78+mph of straight line winds.
