Tragic Event at Homecoming Parade!!

I went to the homecoming parade with my mom today to watch
My 10 year old brother on their Peewee football team float.
A little boy that was sitting right next to my brother fell off the
Float and had his head ran over by the trailer and the massive
Weight of all the kids. Some men had to literally pick the trailer
Up off the kid, my brother said he was bleeding really bad and
was gushing blood out of his mouth. My mom, brother, and I were
All very upset so we went to the hospital to talk to the family.
They said the boy was still conscious (thank God) but had
Road rash all over his face, arm hurting, and having
Breathing problems, my mom got the number from one of
his family members to call to see how things are looking in an
Hour or so.The trailer the kids were on was a flatbed trailer,
With no bars or anything to keep them safely secured! It's so
sad, I hope he will be ok.

Omg how scary!!!

I know, my poor brother is so very upset, that's his friend,
He didn't want to leave the waiting room at the hospital
Because he was so worried.

Oh how sweet of him:( hopefully it all works out ok and he will be ok.

I really hope so, I was hoping someone would get sued myself,
But chances are no one can be for what happened. :(

That is really unfortunate when something happens that could have been prevented. Keep your chin up, I'm sending some positive vibes your way sweety.

How awful. Please keep us updated if you hear any other news on how he is doing.

I think he is going to be alright, my mom told me they were taking
Him to Children's Hospital. No broken bones, but a lot of road
Rash on his face, and a bruised lung. :(
