Trojan Computer Virus **Severe**

Has anyone had a Trojan virus before?? I'm pretty sure I received it from limewire (no longer using), and now it's on 3 other computers!! It shuts stuff off and what not. The windows pop up and it says SEVERE. I'm pretty sure I have to wipe the pc and reload everything (my bf takes care of that stuff). Please if you have any experience let me know your situation.

Do you have any kind of antivirus software? I've had a trojan downloader few times and I've managed to remove them with antivirus softwares. I've scanned my computer and waited that the software find the downloader. After it you can remove the downloader with the software.

It sounds like you have one. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the anti virus software at this point, but certainly get something for the future. I would just wipe the computer clean and go from there.

Im pretty sure that viruses can be trasmitted through email, hyperlinking, embedded in pictures, embedded in mp3's-so take your pick, it could have been just about anything you transfered over from one comp, to the other.

After wiping your computers clean, get an anti virus program and update it often.

Moxie's right. You are putting ALL of us at risk!!
Go to downloads.com and download a FREE version of an anti-virus. I like AVG. It updates daily.
Choose wisely.
