    Tuesday! Must be cookie day!

Mrs iride (Jody) is at work and I found a package of Toll House Oatmeal Raisin cookie dough in the refrig. Just took a batch out of the oven and they're ready to go! Coffee is on and the side door is open!!

I could use the company since I won't be riding for a few days. The new horse took two bites out of Bobo, one by the rear cinch that is pretty bad and the other by the front cinch that is more swollen then cut. I treated the cut and I'm keeping them separated until I get rid of the new guy. This isn't the first time he's put a hurt on Bobo and I don't need the ag.

I think I will have a cookie and some joe, thanks iride
Sorry to hear about the horse injuries. We are out of the saddle yesterday and today due to rain. I guess I'll spend the day here, and maybe do a bit of housework. I got a nice visit in with my mom yesterday. She heads back to Florida next week, won't see her again till spring.
Wish I could tuck away in the suitcase.

    Good morning Bill and Maureen!

Sorry to hear about Bobo. Was it the plan to get rid of the new horse all along or is he just not welcomed anymore? If I had known you were looking for two new horses I could have hooked you up with my two. They're really easy keepers and would be no threat to Bobo.

MmmMm.. Cookies! Did you tuck a couple away for the Mrs.? My hubby does that when he raids the cookie dough...always scores him big points!

Sorry to hear about Bobo. Poor guy. I'd be cautious of getting a horse from Jen...they are thin... I keep recommending supplements but they just won't eat!

I have these 2 wonderful women comming out to the house tomorrow. I totally adore them but they are Jehovah's witness and they keep trying to covert me. I'm not good at telling people no when I like them. We always have a blast together and really enjoy each other's company(when they aren't pushing religion)...*sigh* Sometimes I hate standing up for myself. I don't know that they will still be my new friends once I tell them tomorrow that I'm not changing. Worst part is that one is my neighbor and I just really like her. I feel and probably sound like I'm still in 3rd grade. Guess this is the part of being a grown up that I just don't like. Anyways, I'm sure it will be fine, and I'm fretting for nothing. Heck, she's moving anyways....lol.....

Anyone have some stellar words of advice on how to say no nicely?

Other than that it's another beautiful day in the Ozarks and I'm going to find something to do outside once laundry is done.

    Take care everyone!!!!

Hey Amy, wasn't sure if I should pm this to you or not but decided to share over a coffee.
I have friends who I disagree with on several issues political and religious. They would always bring up different subjects and that we disagreed with and of course being the polite folks Tony and I are we just kept mum then sputter to each other all the way home.
I finally had a talk with the wife. Told her straight up that if we were to remain friends we needed to leave those things out of our conversations. If they felt they couldn't, then we had to say goodbye.
Let them know that you enjoy their company, but you are happy with your church and have no plans to leave. Honesty always works best in these situations I think.

Good morning everybody! I'm going to have to put in another bunch of cookies - chocolate/chocolate chip this time. - don't worry Amy there are plenty for the Mrs.

Those sure are some handsome ponies, Jen. The plan was never to keep the paint but to turn him into a pony or a donkey. I have a guy coming over tonight to look at him - he has a few ponies that may work for me. I really don't want a horse that I'd have to exercise. I have enough time for Bobo but that is all right now. You can always UPS those critters to me and I'll do the same with the paint (Patch).

We've had trouble meeting friends since we moved south. Everyone is Baptist and as soon as we tell them we're Catholic and "no" we are not joining your church, that seems to end things. Pretty Christian of them - go figure. No cookies for them.

Today its raining I was planning on taking the pony out and riding for a while but since the rain has decided to dump today I might not get too anyone want some? *licks envelope*
Its cold here today too...only supposed to get up to 60 I miss summer lol

Iride- aw poor pony im sorry about that that really bites...literally...does the new horse just not get along with him or does he play to rough? We had two horses that didnt get along, but we let them out to pasture together and they raced and that was the end of that dispute...my horse won by the way lol
Sorry that your going to get rid of him, but I understand I couldn't handle that either

    Everyone have a great day!!!!
