Thumbs down US S.S., Wow

"Last week, President Obama signed into law the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. This law permits Secret Service agents to designate any place they wish as a place where free speech, association and petition of the government are prohibited. And it permits the Secret Service to make these determinations based on the content of speech......."

Andrew Napolitano

This was passed overwhelmingly by both sides of the aisle!!! HELLO?

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

It not only permits the "Secret Service" from making the decisions, but empowers individual agents to do so. Now in my lifetime I have known for one reason or another about 20 or 25 Secret Service agents, and let me tell you - some of them are on the wacko side...or at least some of the ones I have known. I remember one that had been a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and openly bragged about strafing civilians. While it is true he was just one individual, do we really want individuals making tdecisions? Oh, sorry - my bad. I forgot that under the current Administration the Constitution is meaningless and outdated. My memory just isn't what it used to be...

The law is obviously unconstitutional and should a case ever be argued before the Supreme Court, it will be history in short order...

Wow that is pretty frightening. What were they trying to accomplish by passing this thing? Since it apparently passed with an overwhelming majority, they must have had some goal in mind, even if it is trampling all over the constitution.

I dearly hope they at least put some restrictions on this sucker.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

There is no other way to interpret "no" or "or abridging" other than "no" or "or abridging". This is a clear power grab of historical proportions.

Can we say NWO?
Look at the track record of government, just in the past decade, and especially in the past 3 plus years. It is rather scarry.
