Visiting Memphis, TN.. Horse related activities?

I am visiting Memphis mid October and would like to see some horses! Any one have any recomendations for some horse related activities? Thank you!

They have a ton of walking horse stuff in shelbyville which is an hour, hour and a half south-ish of nashville. Not sure what but I imagine if you google walking horses and shelbyville you'll get some info. I used to live around there but never did any of the horsey stuff as I'm not a big twh fan ;) sorry, that's as much as I know.

Thanks for the info. I would be interested in seeing some TWH just because you don't see them around here... i'll do some googling and see what I turn. I'm just hoping to avoid anything too "touristy". Like even just visiting a farm and some horses would be nice.
