    Volunteering at wildlife conservation

Hi so I am looking at doing 4-6 weeks wildlife conservation as part of my work experience programme in University next year. My problem is all the conservations I find cost a fortune to go to and as a student I just don't have that money.
#im wondering has anyone ever done conservation work before and where?
Or if you know of anywhere that you don't pay to go to you just pay your board and food?
    Thanks in advance guys
