We saw a white deer the other day....

Anyone seen one of these before? We were on a ride in the back fields the other day (We love in Ohio) and saw the strangest white deer with black spots. It was very cool. Unfortunately, it ran into the woods before I could get the camera out.

I've seen one, a few summers ago there was one living in the fields behind my house I saw her two or three times, as did my mom/sister. It was so cool!

You are never better than anyone. Every rider has skills they need to improve. The only one you must compare yourself with, is you.

That is very cool, and never seen one before. I am a hunter and know my deer, and what you saw was a piebald white tail deer. Very rare, like white albinos.

I remember hearing/reading about a herd of white deer in Seneca, NY. Found this Wikipedia article: Seneca white deer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These guys aren't albino.

I saw one last year. It scared me because I wasn't expecting it. I mean, a white deer? White's not a color you usually associate with deer.

We have (or used to have) an albino deer running around in a reservation near my town. I don't know what happened to it but white deer unfortunately don't live long because its easy to find them..
