Welcome to Alberta, Canada! *pics*

I went out for a leisure drive with my new truck today, the dog and the boyfriend with some friends. Went to our local countryside. An area called Kananaskis.

Thought I would share some photos. It's just 30 mins outside the city JDI and I live in.

Thank you. One think you have to remember is the wildlife we have, and not just cute little dear, I'm talking bears and cougars

I'm accustomed . Even if we haven't cougars we have bears, wolves and lynxes.

But I haven't met anybody of them because I've never camped and avoid deep forests & other untouched backblocks. We have a outhouse at our summercottage (the distance between the cottage and the outhouse is perhaps 20 to 40 meters). I can barely use it during nighttime because I'm afraid that I come across a bear or a wolf if I leave the cottage.

So pretty! Have you and JDI ever met??

I miss Alberta so much! It is so beautiful! Ontario is so different, I can't even compare. I hope to go back very soon.
