    Well, I did it....

Two months ago I left for bootcamp for the US Navy, and I can officially say I am a United States Sailor. I am stuck in Chicago for a while for my A school. I graduated the #3 graduate and won the Military Officers Association of America Award. Hard work pays off!

Well, here's a picture of me my mom took at Lake Michigan. I am going to try to stay active on here again because I sure do miss horses.

Congrats! And welcome to the area. Chi-town is only an hour and a half from me. It's fun to take the train around and see the area.

What field are you going into? Do you know how long your training will be? Maybe you can find a place to ride, if you have some free time.

Wow, great accomplishment, you should be very proud of yourself!! Remember there are 3 racetracks in Chicago area. Balmoral and Maywood are harness tracks and Hawthorne is runners. We race harness but we won't be up there until May :/ Congratulations and thank you for your service!
