    What is this?

Found this in my pasture here in kentucky. Any ideas of what it could be?

I've had some suggest maybe something from the civil war since we had a battle near our place while others say horse drawn something or other? I haven't got a clue.

I was thinking a wrench of some kind to tighten something down on a horse drawn wagon. Really interesting though and thank you for sharing it with us. Very cool!

I would guess it is for pulling gear of some-sort...like perhaps the center connector piece between a team of horses or mules. Just guessing, here...it will be interesting to see what it "really" is! My second guess would be a piece of a horse drawn buggy - like a lever for brakes or something.

    Interesting! Lucky find!!

Seems interesting. Old items like that are always so interesting. I thought some kind of relic but maybe it's not that old.

Do you have any historical association or anything like that around you? Might they could help you with that?
