    favorite chicken and dumpling recipe

I have tried many recipes, and have finally found one that's a big hit. Boil chicken set aside to cool and debone, or use boneless. Save broth and add one large can cream of mushroom soup, one large packet of cream gravy mix. The brand I use is Southeastern Mills, and is not sold in grocery stores here, but is sold at Dollar General, and Mrs. Bairds and Sunbeam bread stores. Wisk together and add your seasonings. Start tearing flour tortillas in bite side pieces, coat each piece liberally with flour, I use a shaker bag, we like ours with lots of thick gravy, served over mashed potatoes. This is sooo good, and dumplings are so tender, I use xtra chicken boullion in mine. Add chicken back in, if not thick enough for your taste, sprinkled a little flour in and wisk well.

I hope by saying catalina sauce, you meant dressing, cause I went to Subway for lunch, then to the store for chicken, catalina dressing, I meant to get crushed pineapple, but forgot, but I found a can of tidbits in my pantry, and pureed those. Its in the oven now.

I'm cooking pot roast, potatoes, and carrots in the slow cooker. With some onion gravy and homemade buttermilk biscuits. Ugh why is it not dinner time now! Haha
