what do you do when your bored at work?

Not sure where to put this. So good ahead and move it :)

As you see I am at work :) and I am very bored!!! I will tell you what I am doing to keep the time moving and hopefully you guys will add what you do :)

I literal daydreaming of things I could be doing with my horses or what I can be buying them or what friends I could catch up with. As the day slowly goes on it seems like the boredom gets worse... its 11:28 it feels like its been 11:28 for about 10 minutes... boredom is the pain to my existence I hate not keeping busy. I have already paced my office and I think my boss thinks I am going crazy so I sat back down. I would even rather be in the gym working out.. maybe I will write soemthing to the boss stating why dogs would be good to have in the office... :/

So go ahead and share what you do at work when your bored to keep the day moving :P

Haha your lucky speedracer. With ships its a good or bad day. If ships are open we are busy if not we are dead... so for me to be bored at work means we have done our owners a service and fixed all the ships with cargo and now have to wait until there job is over. So we are in our waiting/dead time :/

I sit there and chat with my co workers or my manager about random stuff. Nothing much to do at my job when I'm bored.

Well I babysit/dog walk so I the critters (children and pooch) tend to keep my attention. But when I am bored in class, I do what you do pretty much. Just day dream, and think about what I will do when I get out. I also don't look at the clock, because it is an invention of the devil to make you realize how little time you have spent doing unpleasant tasks.

Green Broke
Ur looking at it, My job consists of sitting around waiting for something to break for two weeks, then I get to go home and play with my horse for two weeks. I shop online, ( just ordered a new custom fit saddle for Gen, Beauregard.) putz around on here and face book, read the news, eat too much.

I don't work full time (still a student), but when I go work at my public library, I hate it when there isn't enough to keep me busy for 2 hours! I basically try and stretch my work by really taking my time to put the books away, flip through the interesting books I'm shelving and maybe put them aside to take out... when I still have a WHOLE hour left, I go through all the books to see if they are in order and replace them if they are not. (That usually keeps me very busy as little kids like to take out and stuff back in, without knowing where it actually goes lol) When I've done so much of that, I try and jump on anybody there who might need help finding a particular book or something. When all else fails, I talk to the librarian (depending which one is there, as I am not comfortable with all of them)...

When my favorite librarian is there, it's fun and she just starts talking to me so I work and talk at the same time, and then keep talking when I'm done. With the other librarian, it's complicated and can sometimes be awkward, so talking isn't really the best option to past time. I hate how small the library is, as it's hard to keep busy when there aren't as many books to put away. :/ And not enough people to assist!
