I can totally relate to you! I'm in exactly the same position- wondering what on earth am I going to do with my life?
All I ever wanted to do was work with horses- I finally finished my Bachelor's in Equine Science, and two months after graduation I was struck with a virus which paralysed my stomach and intestines. I'm finally stable after 3 years of bouncing from one doctor to another and finally getting my medications figured out. Now I'm broke, and I can't find a job. There are too many college students in my area (who will work for free for internships), and so much competition.
My dream is to open my own riding stable and give lessons. Only I have no funding, and my parents refuse to let me use their property for lessons. So I'm back to square one.
If I go back for a Masters degree it will be $26,000 for 2 years. No way I can afford that even with sholarships. Vet school is $100,000 so out of the question. Vet tech school is $7000 and the pay is poor. I'm now looking at medical technician, radiology, ultrasound, nursing or something related to that- at least then I should be able to find a job! Only 12 months to get a degree as an ultrasound technician, only 2 years for radiology and the tuition is much more reasonable than going for a masters.
I'm just afraid I will either be bored out of my mind or hate my job... I would love to get a masters, but there is no way I can come up with that kind of money. My uncle is rich, but I hardly know him and if I were to get sick again there is no way I could pay him back.

I need a new car too.
Why does school have to be so expensive? They have been raising the tuition every year and cutting back on the number of scholarships offered.
