Hun, I know exactly how you feel.
My house burnt down on the 7th July and ever since, we have had bad luck.
I was ready to give up month's ago :(
Since my house has burnt down, this has happened.
Got screwed over by the insurance people.
Dad got a bad stomach ulcer.
Mum was diagnosed with diabetes and the worst type of artrhitis.
2 family friends died.
My mare lost her foal.
My dog had 8 epileptic fits in 2 days.
One of the dog's got out twice and killed 2 ducks in the space of 2 weeks.
All 5 mares escaped onto a busy road, from next doors field.
They all escaped a week later, 3 times in a week onto the canal.
Put Fenda back in foal again, had a scan 20 days later, and lost it again.
Raine got kicked badly while I was away and injured her hock.
My brother broke his shoulderblade.
Raine lost weight rapidly, and was very ill, and put on anti-biotics and everything.
In the same day, Breeze went lame.
The horses have had no end of having the vet out, because they have been injured.
A close family friend had a heart attack and was critically ill in hospital.
My dad got a huge bad ulcer on his leg and it nearly had to be amputated.
The house nearly burnt down again because a light was left perched ontop of the door and it started burning until Jeff noticed a burning wood smell.
We have had no end of things going wrong with the house, and things are still going wrong now.
My nan collapsed and hit her head on the wall.
Then last week she fell again and hit her head on the table.
My dog, Chaska completely turned on my brother and trying to go for him.
My brothers cat had to be rushed into the vet's because he couldn't go to toilet, and if they didn't sort it, he could have died from a ruptured bladder and liver.
Chaska could have a tumor on his brain.
Gypsy has really bad mud fever and has had to come in.
Raine nearly killed herself today, because she was galloping and she somersaulted (And I mean, literally somersaulted) landing in such a way that it was a miracle she didn't snap her neck. She wasn't moving, and me and my mum tried frantically to un-do the gate, and I saw her start thrashing about, she could have drowned in the muddy puddle. She thankfully made it ok.
A family friend was diagnosed with cancer yesterday.
And my nan's very ill today, and she may need to go into hospital.
And so much more has happened.
You just gotta hang in there, if I can do it, you can.
I'm hoping for a better year next year, I just can't deal with all this lately.
It's starting to mess with my head.
