How about that 50% that take government assistance. I get hit for 40% of my paycheck going to the government.

Having been to the Mississippi delta, where there is a lot of lazy welfare rats. I can see why it makes anyone angry. It'd be better if they'd spend the money on stuff they actually need. I don't have to pay taxes yet,( so I don't know much about it) but whatever financial problems I have in the future will be my fault, and I know that. I can find ways to make money without using the government.

Any who. What makes me angry is people who judge other religions, yet are religious themselves. I believe in Deism, and I don't know why, but I have had several people call me a "Stinkin Jew." I know it's not everyone, but I just want to get out of the bible belt where I feel judged everytime I step out of the door. I don't believe in the bible, I don't believe in hell, and I don't believe in organized religion. There's a few people around my area that can't seem to deal with that. You can believe what you want, and I'll believe what I want. But please don't insult me.

Don't get me even started (we have lots of those in Baltimore and DC area)...

Another thing is changing immigration law to let all illegals to stay here and get green card (when unemployment is already hitting the roof placing many good citizens in bad position), while people waiting in line for decades (or applying for immigration legally in this country) will be left behind..

    Trained
    Stupid people in general.

I worked as a rental car agent for almost five years. I lost all faith in humanity or in intelligent life on this planet in that time. The stupid questions people asked, the demands they made...let's just say that my 7yo asks more intelligent, coherent questions than the majority of the people I dealt with. I have also never been treated as poorly by customers as I was when I was a rental car agent. Next time you rent a car and go to yell at the rental car agent, remember this: they have the power to put you in the crappiest car on the lot, and do it with a smile, so you'd better be nice!

Now, working for a thrift store, I've lost whatever tiny bit of faith I had in intelligent life on Earth and in humanity. I have never met so many people who conveniently ignore the policies of our company regarding returns which are posted in THREE places in our store, plus are listed on the bottom of their receipt, then get angry at us when we refuse to do their return because they don't meet the requirements for return (tag still attached to merchandise and receipt present within 14 days of purchase and we don't do returns on our new merchandise, like mattresses or a lot of our Halloween goods) or because we won't give them their cash back (return policy clearly states that only store credit is given on returns). I also hate that when I have JUST done an announcement over the PA, reminding customers of our sales that day (in a clear voice...I've been told by a lot of people I should be in radio with my voice), and I have ten customers come up and ask me what the color tag on sale is today. Really?! You can't read the HUGE sign telling you what color tag is on sale that is the first thing you see when you walk in? Or look at the balloons that we put up every morning that are the same color as the tag that is on sale? Or even listen to the freaking ANNOUNCEMENT I just made to tell you what the color tag is?!?! GAH!!!

What I think will help Americans in getting jobs, is getting rid of the mindset of "It's my right to receive a job." And replacing it with "It's my privilege to work." Illegals come to America looking for work, and they will work hard. Hence why they are oftentimes hired. I was watching construction workers once, and there was a group of guys and one of them was an immigrant. The immigrant was doing all the work, while the others were just sitting there watching him while leaning on their shovels.

And I'm not condoning illegal immigration. I just feel some Americans don't have the right mindset towards labor.

With all the jobs were doing at work, I would have to say were looking at a recovery going on right now. And with all of our oil deposits we will go from producing 72% of our oil to 100% by 2015/16. Also manufacturing has peaked in China, and has actually gone downhill.
