Just out of boredom and curosity what style of jeans do you wear? For riding or just out and about. Personally I have/wear
Slivers
2 bootcuts
1 straight leg Manager
1 bootcut George
1 skinny American Eagle
1 skinny Bogo (sp)
Straight leg Brody
Straight leg (from bootlegger my favourite jeans ever!) BlueNotes
1 straight leg
1 skinny Mark and Co
1 bootcut OK jeans (stupid name for a jean company)
1 bootcut
Most of my bootcut jeans I dont wear to school. I wear my skinnys to school and sometimes my straight legs.
I have mostly bootcuts and flare jeans, but I admit to having 2 pairs of skinny jeans. The brands are Paper, Cloth, and Denim, Lee, GLO, Old Navy, Z, and I have a few other brands...just can't remember them. My favorite is Paper, Cltoh, and Denim...they're so comfy and they fit my 5'10" height perfectly and just fit nicely on my hips.
I love jeans but I can't wear them to work, and I don't wear these to the barn, so they don't get as much use as I'd like!
Michael kors-
1 - blue skinny
1 - black skinny
1 - white wide legs
1 - blue wide legs
rock and republic
2 - blue boot cut
1 - black skinny
hudson
1 - blue boot cut (my #1 favorite!!)
I'm a little surprised no one else listed wide legs, but I guess they're not really in the "in" style right now. I personally think they are very flattering if worn right.
I wear Old navy "flirt" style-or Levis 515. Mostly boot cuts, and I wear them to the barn and everywhere, but do have some skinnys also for with boots, flats or pumps......I like them, just don't ride in them.
The "in" thing here to ride in (at least in the reiner pen) is Cruel girl. I have yet to find a pair that I like the fit of......
I have mostly skinnies as I find them comfier than other types of jeans plus I can get my big boots over them for college. Trouble is I'm so short it's hard to find leg lengths that don't need to be adjusted or rolled up.
The brands I have are:
American Eagle
Mostly Gap
Lucky Brand
Seven
I mostly wear Gap jeans because their short size fits me..the American Eagle shorts are pretty long lol. Gap is my favorite though, bootcut..no skinnies for me!
Skinny usually. Favorite brand are JOE's, they are SOOO comfortable!! I like Seven's too, but my pair of those is too small haha. Aeropostales are way too short for me, but Abercrombie and AE are usually long enough
Wranglers. I can't seem to find any other brand that fits me, is comfortable, and practical for what I do. It is hard to even find women's jeans that are less than $40 a pair so I mostly wear men's jeans.
I do have a couple pairs of Q-baby jeans from wrangler but I can't wear them when I am riding because the bottoms of the legs are too big and end up falling down over the heel of my boots. I mostly keep them for wearing around town now.
I love jeans. If I'm wearing pants, they are jeans. I wear flares and boot cuts. I can't stand the fact that skinny jeans are in right now because it makes it next to impossible for me to find jeans. I've got long legs so I need longs for them to fit right, and all of the places that carry longs seem to only sell skinny jeans now. It's very frustrating.
I don't buy brand name, I end up putting my money into my horse and HT's instead.
I wear jeans that are Boot Cut, or with a bit of a flare to them. I like my jeans to cover my shoes.
I cant stand Skinnies - I think that fashion style should of stayed in the 50's with Audrey Hepburn. Skinnies and Flats - cant stand either. Don't get me wrong, I love Audrey Hepburn - beauiful and amazing actress and humanitarian, just think the style should of stayed in that era.
Unfortunately, styles and fashion loves to cycyle over and over. I am glad to see Skinnies are slowly coming off of the shelves and being replaced again by Boot Cuts and Flares.
I don't follow fashion, I just wear what I like and what I am comfortable in. I like my Ugs and I like my Skater Shoes and my Hoodies *pull over and zip up*
I like light colored jeans over dark, but I do have a couple of dark to go with tops of mine that are lighter in color.
Strange I can not stand to wear flares. Its a pain to find jeans to fit me. I like ultra low rise but I have accidently bought some higher rised jeans and they will not stay up and I hate wearing belts because I am allergic to the buckles they use. How do you guys like the Q baby jeans?
I really like my Q-baby jeans, they are incredibly comfortable and best of all, they have just a bit of stretch to them so they are more forgiving than most LOL.
I'm cheap and really hate to spend more than like..$25 on a pair of jeans. Luckily, where I live now for college has a store that has really nice clothes for really cheap. As in, I got a pair of Silvers for $15.
I have that pair of Silvers,
Levis (which I loveeeee. I had 2 pair, but the older pair tore right up the crotch when I was swinging my leg over my saddle. Lovely.),
3 pairs of Arizonas (two are the same pair. They're thin, but sturdy and stretchy, so good for riding in the summer heat)
and a pair of Fox jeans that I got at the same store as the Silvers. I'm wearing them right now and are ridiculously comfortable and lovely for riding,
and a pair of Amethyst.
All of my jeans except for those Levis are flared. The Levis are bootcut. I do have two pairs of skinnies, but one is..I'm not even sure. It's certainly not denim. They're absolutely ridiculous pants. I found them at Kohl's for like $5. I'll find a picture. And then a pair of bright blue skinnies.
I have a heck of a time getting in to skinnies because my calves are almost as big as my thighs (I have really tiny thighs..and my calves are kind of large anyway), so I get stuck in them. I had to have my friend pull a pair off of me while shopping for jeans one time.
Sorry for the ranttt.
These are my crazy pants. They're fun to wear, but would fall apart if I even thought about riding in them.
