I am scared by heights and the fact that they have this ability to make you that much more aware of gravity. If I'm up high and look over the edge I get this vivid image of myself falling over and going splat!

Sharks - especially bull sharks. Those things are everywhere! They were found in the Potomac... I used to go swimming there O.O I watch River Monsters cause I love seeing those crazy things!

I would love to see a shark in the ocean or the river... but only if I wasn't in the water. I was scuba diving once, and I was doing a practice navigation so I was not looking where I was going.. but when I did look up, there was a giant silver fish (~6ft long) swimming in front of me. I freaked out and swam back to the boat soooooo fast. These guys started showing up shortly after, so I was easily convinced back in the water. I did get made fun of the rest of the trip though.

I drive my family crazy because I am always updating them on shark statistics. Especially when we are near the water, which is alot since my family loves sailing.

Other than that, I'm not really scared of much... maybe bears, they look pretty scary.

On the topic of sharks...my guy and I were kayaking in La Jolla (coastal town near our home) and as we approached the shore, and I considered stepping out of the kayak, I saw large moving black shadows beneath us. Upon further investigation turns out they were sharks! I have no clue how we didn't hit one, the water was maybe 2 feet deep. So creepy, but very cool at the same time! They were quite little maybe 3-4 feet.

That's scary Zeke. I probably would have been hyperventilating. I know they don't usually attack humans unless they look like food, but they're so scary!!

Oh yeah, I forgot about crocodilles and alligators. Those scare me too.

Once I start trail riding, I'll be bringing a gun, just in case I need to defend against any bears/crocs/alligators/sharks...(you never know where those crazy animals might be! )

Agreed. I cannot even look at pictures of them on the computer or TV without feeling like somethings crawling on me. The worst is when I find one in my apartment, go to kill it and it takes off to never be seen again... I absolutely lose it.

Kind of weird when you think about it, we're so big and their so small, just doesn't seem right for us to get scared. :[

Im claustrophobic - I HATE being in small dark spaces...I have awful stage fright but I still sing and stuff on stages. I never go outside alone at night, and I am terrified of making a fool of myself, that is one of my biggest fears!!! Wierd right

I'm with you on that. I left the room for about a minute to go grab a shoe to kill it and came back and it was nowhere in sight. That night I couldn't sleep because I pictures it crawling on me, crawling on my walls and then stopping on my light switch so when I woke up in the morning I would brush my hand on it. My brother played a prank on me one year and put a huge fake spider in my drawer and I touched it before I saw it...I ran all the way outside screaming for my dad and then jumped into the truck and locked the doors and cried. My family always makes fun of me.

I'm afraid of syringe needles. It's weird because I can poke myself with a sewing needle and draw blood, but as soon as a octor comes near mewith a syringe needle I freak out. I also found out that I'm a little afraid of heights, but after a small freak out and clinmbing back down I realized I was being stupid, that my dad would bevery dissappointed in me, and climbed back up to complete the rope course.

I love spiders and snakes. Except if the spider is the shower and I don't know it and hen turn around and see it. Ten i's not quite so funny. The dark doesn't bother me, unless something unusual scares me while I'm in the dark, then I become jumpy.
