I have always been afraid of the dark. I also have a fear of being humiliated in front of a large group of people...oh, and a fear of becoming fat.

Okay, after I think about it. It's more of the fear of falling than a fear of heights (I'm perfectly fine in an airplane or standing on a bridge, but on a high ropes course I freak out, I will have to get over that).

I have a lot of random irrational fears. Sometimes I think it would be quicker to name things I'm NOT afraid of.

"New" Heights- If I've done been in that same location or situation before it usually doesn't bother me. The worst day-to-day one is the glass fences in malls...*shudder* Weirdly it doesn't work on outdoor things in bad weather...
Lakes/ponds- I don't like that you can't see where you step.
Needles- Not accidental pricking, but getting injections. I'm deathly afraid of having blood drawn.
Any injury to the wrist.
Death.
Countless others...

In the movie twister, when the tornado was about do destroy that small town, the wind chimes were ringing and such, and since then wind chimes just creep me out. It's not a deathly fear of them though. Just the kind that sends a chill down my spine.

Weird thing is, I love seeing twisters, as long as it's in a distance and not going through a town.

Same here! I hate when there in my area, but I love watching all the shows on TV about them
