Horses: 0 | this is a lovely thread! i am thankful for being able to have horses, my dog, my family, and to have reached the age i am and still have the ability to laugh/ see the funny side, and still have freedom of spirit. i am grateful for the ability to think like a horse, if that makes sense, i am thankful for good health, and that i have the ability to appreciate the best things in life, ie the beauty of nature, the scent of autumn leaves, beautiful sunsets, all those little things, that dont cost a penny and are worth so much. |

I am also thankful for my mother and stepfather; my health, mental and physical; my animals, and the long-coming ability to finally own a horse; to know such good friends; that my mother's idiot boss is finally going to be replaced... |

Horses: 0 | I've had time to think about it, and of course I am thankful for the usual stuff, friends, family and health; but I am also thankful for the ability to BE thankful. I am thankful for forgiveness, both given and received. For having dreams, and being able to achieve them, even in the smallest amount; in having support in all it's many forms and am so very thankful for the many people who have passed in and out of my life, past, present and future; without them my life would be extremely dull.
I am thankful for the life that has been laid out before me; for both the easy and the hard parts, for they have molded me into the person I am today. I am very much excited to see what type of person I will become 10, 20, 30 years from now. I am thankful for being able to appreciate those good things in my life, and am thankful for the willingness to learn from those hurdles in life.
Finally, I am SO very thankful for my son. Without him, lord knows where I'd be at this moment. He has given me so much joy and so much love I could not possibly imagine my life without him. Being a parent is one of life's most challenging joy's and I simply just cant express the gratitude I have in the privilege of being Seth's mom. My mom once told me that children choose their parents before they're born; I am thankful that Seth chose me. |
