I've had time to think about it, and of course I am thankful for the usual stuff, friends, family and health; but I am also thankful for the ability to BE thankful. I am thankful for forgiveness, both given and received. For having dreams, and being able to achieve them, even in the smallest amount; in having support in all it's many forms and am so very thankful for the many people who have passed in and out of my life, past, present and future; without them my life would be extremely dull.
I am thankful for the life that has been laid out before me; for both the easy and the hard parts, for they have molded me into the person I am today. I am very much excited to see what type of person I will become 10, 20, 30 years from now. I am thankful for being able to appreciate those good things in my life, and am thankful for the willingness to learn from those hurdles in life.
Finally, I am SO very thankful for my son. Without him, lord knows where I'd be at this moment. He has given me so much joy and so much love I could not possibly imagine my life without him. Being a parent is one of life's most challenging joy's and I simply just cant express the gratitude I have in the privilege of being Seth's mom. My mom once told me that children choose their parents before they're born; I am thankful that Seth chose me.
