Within 1 year, would like to be done this dang degree! Sell my horse and move to Europe for a few years and work for an international consultant company, like McKinsey (dream job lol). As well I'd like to buy the Olympic horse and train with Ute Graf, Carl Hester, Heike Kemmer or the like.
Within 5 years I would like to have said horse doing small tour, Pan Am Games level.
Within 10 years I would like to have an Olympics or WEG under my belt, be moved wherever I'm going to "settle" and start building a barn.

If the Europe thing doesn't pan out, probably will just move closer to my coach and find some way to take 3 months off a year and go to Florida to show...

In one year, I'd like to be promoted and/or have a raise. My current job is miserable, and I'd at least like to get paid more than minimum wage. I have tuition payments, and it's putting an enormous strain on my bank account. Seriously. I deserved a raise six months ago. My boss is a jerk.

In five years, I'd like to be on my own and have a degree in graphic design. I'd like to have a decent paying job that allows me to be artistic.

In ten years... I'd like to be able to say that I've traveled to several different countries. I want to be well-established and known as a respected artist and/or writer. I'd like to have at least one book published. I've even thought about becoming a paranormal investigator so I could travel all over the world and explore haunted historic sites. I'd love to see some haunted castles.

Interesting question, and one I have been thinking about a lot lately since I finish my diploma in 2 months and graduate in June :)

5 Years: I will have my boxer (get him next March) and do some agility with him. I hope to be working in a full time job where I get to program random projects and do some freelance stuff on the side. Either leasing my first horse and/or buying my first horse (and my bf's first horse? :P ). Get my first truck. Save up for a down-payment on another rental property. I also hope to have our mortgage almost fully payed off by then.

10 Years: Bought that other rental property and start saving up for another down-payment for either another rental property or a country home with some acreage. Not really sure what the plans are this far in the future. Complete anything I didn't complete by Year 5 :P

In a year id like for my husband to have gotten a full time job he loves (hes in his last year of law school and starting to scout for jobs)
I have a fantastic, but highly stressful job so in a year id like to be more settled and feel more in control.

In five years, id like to have another horse, have a house, and be getting ready to start a family.

Cant even think of 10 years right now; too many unknowns

In one year I will be married and we're hoping to have our own house by then, too. I'm also hoping to have my own trailer so I can trailer Aires to trail rides with a local all-women trail riding group (my two best friends are members of the group already, but I haven't joined yet because I work too much). I also hope to have a better job so I'm not working so much (50+ hours a week for minimum wage with no overtime), so I have more time to enjoy life.

In five years, I hope to have a baby (or two) and to have my son (from a previous marriage) living with us at least half the year. I hope to have Aires started jumping and competing at the local shows. I also hope to have a horse for my boyfriend (who will most definitely be my husband by then) and trail ride with him. I would also like to have a pony for my kids to ride and compete on. I also hope to have my own business (an aquarium landscaping and maintenance business).

In ten years, I want to be "that" mom. Take the kids to sports practice and games, horse shows, ballet, whatever they want to do. Decorate for every holiday, host family get-togethers, all that sort of stuff.

5 years - be graduated, hopefully moved out into an appartment and boarding my horses somewhere, have a retirement account all set up. I have been leaning towards becoming a wedding planner or working for a breed registry. Not sure yet!:P I'd really like to be a full time trainer, but it's good to have a back up plan.

10 years- be married, have my own home. Maybe be starting a family. Owning a stud and a few nice mares, working full time and horses part time.

Of course plans can change, but me and my boyfriend are very serious about finishing out our lives together. We have talked every detail of it out, know eachothers strengths and weaknesses and build eachother up based on those. He doesn't plan on going to college, it's just not the path for him and I understand that. He is a licensed mechanic but works spraying foundation slabs for termites, and he really enjoys it. The business is expanding and I think he has hopes so own his own shop someday. He makes really good money.

I don't plan to live extremely well off. I want a small house, a decent acreage, a vehicle that works, and to be able to live comfortably financially.
Isn't that really all we need?

Lots of good dreams on here! Keep it up people, we can do it.

In five years I'd like to be more successful. I want my farm to finally be self sufficient, and at least one of my four businesses to make me a millionaire.

Then at ten years I want a grounds keeper, a chef, and a little help around the house! LOL! I want to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor and be able to smell the danged roses I planted and eat the apples I planted too!

You can get a lot further with a ladder than you can with crutches!!
What do you mean what do I mean?
