It's the attention they receive from the drama they create. I've noticed a lot of them will post something controversial or to spark debate and then lurk around, watching us go at each other. Sometimes, if the argument is fierce enough, they won't post again. Other times, if things start to die down, they add something to the thread (oftentimes contradicting themselves) to get things going again.

you know....if the fantasy posters didn't waste time here and instead wrote about about their fantasy life, and their fantasy horses...they could make money to get a real life horse! bahahaha

may I just take this opportunity to put in a plug for the forum rules, which ask that if you do suspect such activity, or trolls , that you report it to the mods instead of calling them "troll" or "liar" out on the board. There are times when people suspect troll but are wrong, and ganging up to call down the wrath of the forum on these folks is exactly what the fantasy poster is hoping for ; drama.
