Bones and NCIS are great IMO.

Also The Big Bang Theory is good.

Hell on wheels.

I do not watch tv (by choice), and very rarely watch a series on netflix or amazon. I can't remember which one (netflix or amazon) has Fringe, but even I got addicted to that one!!!! It is sooo good!

I really like Modern Family. I think it's hilarious! The humor is often subtle and clever and I like the acting.

Downton Abbey

The In-Betweeners (British humor, very coarse)

Oh, and I second The Tudors.

Chuck was really good! So is Bones, The Closer, and The Following [on its first season now]. Other than that, my guilty pleasures are Switched at Birth, Glee, and Heartland.

Sherlock!

Netflix is still limited on movies and shows up here, but Bones is a favourite of mine.

ETA: And now that I am scrolling through the shows, I would have to add Numb3rs, The Unit, DEA, and Robin Hood. I was into Pan Am, but it was a short lived series, and didn't get past the first "short" season. I really should try watching more shows...
