We actually left the house saturday due to the weather! we head off to Bill's mom's house (mother in law) She freaks out and she also has a basement. We go there during bad weather. Usually you can just ride the storm out and keep a close eye on the weather channels. We had horrible storms all around us. I am only about 6 miles from the Missouri border and 15 were killed just north of us. I guess living in the mid-west you figure out how to watch the weather and you have just got to know when to seek shelter. Bad things happen no matter how hard you try to prepare. I guess when your time is up....its up. I don't figure its any worse than an earthquake...at least you know when a storms brewing.
BTW...we were all fine and no damage to our home or property. We could have stayed here but better safe than sorry.
Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
