When was i supposed to learn how to use Bobby pins? Grrr

Ok I just need to vent for a second. I have a friend's wedding to go to tomorrow and have literally spent hours today trying to figure out how to do an easy chignon (bun), messy is fine but I can't do it. I just don't know how to use a Bobby Pin to save my life!! I finally decided to give up and see if I could get into a salon and of course they are closed now.

I hate that I can't do anything to my hair. I somehow missed that phase in my life where girls get together and do each others hair or something.

Grrr.... I don't really expect help. I just wanted to cry and scream out loud because I'm so embarrassed/frustrated with myself and this was the only place I could think to do it.

(I can do my horses hair just fine )

you tube is all well and good but they all make it look soooo easy! I have fine hair and have layers so that doesn't really help

Just so you don't feel alone, I missed all that stuff too. I can't use bobby pins and the only makeup I can confidently apply is lipstick.I feel your pain!

What times the wedding? My salon opens at 8am tomorrow, I don't imagine they are unique.

For what it's worth, you aren't the only one. I'm 27 and still don't know how to use a bobby pin . Loose, braided, ponytail, or bun (with the rubber band) are my only options if I don't hire it done.
