Green Broke
I have never used them personally, but these twisted bobby pins would probably be perfect for a chignon.

I use bobby pins on a daily basis! They are life savers. Or, hair savers.

Bobby pins are awesome! I don't have long hair anymore, but I used to use them all the time. The secret is to use as many as you need and only a little hair in each one. You can actually just stick them in without opening them more than a fingernail, and I have thick hair! With thin hair, they work great!

I hope you got it to work. Any pictures of the 'do?

Thanks for all the help/support. The 2 salons that are closest to me don't have time this morning =( I really don't have time anyways. My mare is brewing an abscess so I have to deal with that this morning and now it's raining Let's face it, my Mare is more important than my hair anyways I just talked to a friend that knows the bride and she told me not to stress. Someone is wearing a clown costume and a guy is wearing a novelty bow (it's at a circus museum) so maybe no one will be looking at me anyways! Lol
