Okay, now it really hit me. I'd like to start hang up Christmas lights, Christmas cookies (yea... I decided to hang up some of cookies above my window, on a curtain rod. Actually I've still some cookies there that I hung up in the last year) and stuff like that. I think I could buy colored Christmas lights (perhaps pink or lilac), have some iron wire and then shape a some kind of skeleton (perhaps a heart), hang the lights around that skeleton and put whole the thing on my window. Unluckily all the shops are closed today so I can't go there and buy what I need :p. I've still some Christmas lights that I've had hung here during whole the year and I lighted some candles few hours ago.

When I told my mom today she looked me like I'd have been nuts and told that it'd be more appropriate after the Independence Day (December 6th) .

I think I'm not going to wait till December 6th when I've caught these vibes .

Vaikka myrsky hetkeksi tyyntyykin, varjo seuraa onneain.
Ja pian taas uusin hönkäyksin, varjo seuraa onneain.
Hei tuu mun luo, pieneksi hetkeksi. Puhutaan, varjoni, valkoiseksi enkeliksi."

Officially decoration obsessed. Over the years I have gotten some really nice Thanksgiving decorations but they are hard to find. I even have all the squirrel beanie babies that I put out. Halloween comes down tomorrow and Thanksgiving goes up. Has any one shopped at Bronners online. It is a huge Christmas store. You can get any kind of ornament from them. My daughter loves her "Santa on a jumping horse" from them and my uncle ( the cigar smoker) got a cigar ornament one year and loved it

Don't tell my sister about the Thanksgiving decorations! Lol she always gets upset that people "skip" Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas after Halloween. I keep telling her there's no Thanksgiving decorations but apparently I'm wrong! For me Thanksgiving and Christmas kind of go together so the Christmas stuff fits with Thanksgiving for me.

Sadly, it rained tonight so for all of my decorating we only got 2 groups of kids :(

I totally agree. As soon as the air starts getting cooler it's like something deep inside of me is triggered and I become holiday happy! Ha! I think the October through January are by far the best months of the year.
