Why being a mommy is harder than being a horse rider...

Uggh...mommyhood is tiring! Our baby girl is a week old and is exhausting us! But she is just so darn cute we can't help but absolutely adore her. Last night was exhausting...I think she has figured out that our arms are more comfortable to sleep in than her crib. Right now she is sound asleep in her carseat. Might try that tonight... It's my husband's birthday today! Yeah...I spent her whole nap preparing and cooking him brownies. I can't believe Sydney is a week old already! Pretty soon she will be 18 and off to college right...

I've already started going on walks with the dogs and Aggie again. I think he was glad to see me...even though I can really only stand to be outside for about 30 minutes right now...and I walk REALLY slow. I can't wait to heal up and get on a good routine. My husband has been great although I try not to wake him unless really necessary because he does have to go to work all day long and support this family of 6 (3 humans 1 horse 2 dogs)! Sigh...mommy life...those corny commercials are true...it really does change everything!

Our girls are 10, 6 and 5 now and I don't even remember them being that small anymore! Soak it up and savor every moment now...

If that's true and they want to induce, don't let them use pitocin!

Pitocin is a VICIOUS MOTHER! They used that to try and get my labor moved a long more... ugh... Never again!

btw, Sydney is just absolutely beautiful! I just love her to bits!! Just wait til she's three, bouncing off the walls, and all you can think about is when all she wanted to do was sleep in her car seat.

OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY!....well, girl actually!

CONGRATS!!!!!

She is SO cute! My girls are 13 and 11...I miss them being smelly (good and bad) little babies and the tiny fingers and toes and the little yawns.....oh my goodness! **Squeal** <--- I don't do that often!

You and the Hubby did very good! *give each other snuggles*

I haven't any babies but let me still give a little tip. Let your take a break sometimes (ok, maybe it's prudent to wait when the baby is a few weeks old). Also moms need to rest properly and secede from a routine life sometimes so they have enough strenght to cope with their babies. Call in hubby, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, neigbors... Whoever you can trust.
