| Why YOU love the HorseForum... After being on other forums and participating in less-than-intelligent discussions, I realized that I absolutely LOVE this forum!
Here's why:
1) Wealth of knowledge- I have learned alot here!
2) People- the people here are great. If there is a problem, it is handled maturely
3) Diversity- I love hearing about horse communities in other countries!
and last but not least
4) Maturity level- compared to all of the other forums that I am a part of, this forum definitely has the most mature people on it. I love that a discussion can be handled like adults.

| I agree, everything here is handled very maturely. I love this forum because there are lots of knowledgeable people here. I have been around horses all my life and I have learned lots here. Plus, posting here is how I get my horsey fix when I can't see my horses during my work week. I love it here, everyone is so cool. |

| This is the second forum I participate on. There is a big variety of people with a lot to say. It's interesting to read all the different points of view and how people do things with their horses.
I've gotten to know some of the people in an online way and am interested in the things they do and what goes on in their life.
I will say that initially it was a pretty difficult forum to get involved in. I think that can happen with any forum though. You're joining an already established group and it's hard to jump in and become a part of that group. But once people get to know you, then it's a very welcoming place. |

| The people here are smart, friendly, and informative. Problems are handled like adults, and not like bickering children. The mods do their job, and things stay friendly.
I always get a TON of different ideas regarding my questions. The people here really care about sharing knowledge, and not about establishing some sort of online "reputation." I hate that at other forums.
Love it here at HF. :] |

Horses: 0 | People here are friendly, in general. Maturity levels have a lot to do with it, and I can say that this board has very mature Mods, which really helps. Everyone here is respectful and if not it is taken care of.
And Carrots! |

| I scoped out this forum and some others for a year before joining . This is the only one I joined because I found it very informative and respectful with a twist of humour!
Since joining I have been made to feel welcomed and even , dare I say, valued even for my limited knowledge.
And yes, that darn carrot game is down right addicting! |

Horses: 0 | It might sound bad, but I initially started to search for a horse related forum right after I had surgery a few years ago. I needed something to pass time. As far as its concerned I usually only go on when I am at work to pass time as well.
Because of it I ended gaining some really good friendships (JDI, I love you girl) and it's brought me back out here regularly. |
