Winter has returned

4" of wet snow was dumped during the night, yet yesterday was an incredibly beautiful sunny warm windless day. This goes beyond depressing. It's April 19.

We had 4 inches yesterday morning on the ground. Today it is sunny and warming up. Will make a nice afternoon for a horse ride. Hopefully this is the last of the snow!

And I thought our winter was long this year. It was spitting snow last Tuesday but it wasn't heavy or cold enough for it to stick. It's a gorgeous spring day here.

Oh no! Where in ON are you? We had some rain in Belleville yesterday, but no snow!

We had everything yesterday, rain, freezing rain. Snow, sleet, and the roads are icy, will the dirt roads are just BLEH, there was no way I was going to drive an hour each way in crap like this to ride The Awesome one, so I'm home and I really really want to cry, because I am so *insert long string of choice expletives* fed up with this stupid weather.

I'm near the western end of ON. The sun is supposed to shine but so far everything is still covered with snow, that wasn't yesterday.
