I agree with Amp! I had my wisdom teeth taken out a few years back, I only had the bottoms. I was on pain meds for over a week and looked like a bulldog with all the swelling. I'm glad your feeling better!

My wisdom teeth were removed about a month ago and I started to notice that my teeth were feeling loose the next day. By the time my bite was 'off' like you are describing, I was really worried that my teeth wouldn't go back into place. I wore my retainer day and night for a week after that and everything went back to normal.

From what I could gather from years of being prodded by orthodontists, if new space is created in your mouth, the other teeth have a tendency to move into that space. That's what I assumed was going on, but don't take my word for it! You could always call the surgeon and as for his/her oppinion. :)
