Unhappy woman divorces man for cleaning to much

BERLIN (Reuters) – A German woman has divorced her husband because she was fed up with him cleaning all the time.
German media reported the wife got through 15 years of marriage putting up with the man's penchant for doing household chores, tidying up and rearranging the furniture.
But she ran out of patience when he knocked down and rebuilt a wall at their home when it got dirty, Christian Kropp, court judge in the central town of Sondershausen, said on Thursday.
"I'd never had anyone seek a divorce for this," he said.

Extreme OCD can drive anyone crazy!!! Must have been very extreme for her to take that course of action.

I however would have just saddled up for a great trail ride will hubby did all the cleaning!!

Hmmm. .. I guess one person's hell is another's heaven!!!

Ok - be honest here. There is a bit of a difference between cleaning a lot and knocking a wall down because its dirty. I'm quite sure if I was in her shoes I would be telling him either get professional help or divorce - his choice.

All I pay my psychiatrist is cost of feed and hay, and he'll listen to me any day!

^Haha, I agree. That's a bit crazy, knocking down a wall if it's dirty...wow.

Ride more, worry less.

If that love of cleanliness could only be channeled for good! Maybe he could come help me clean since Spyder never came through with her birthday promise to help clean my house.

Kidding aside, OCD is a difficult thing for both family members and those who have it. A friend of mine is married to a man to has OCD. His problem is opposite of this man's. Her hubby never, ever throws a thing away. She cannot keep the house clean and even has difficulty keeping the place clear of stuff. OCD can truly be disabling.

Are you absolutely sure you wanna mess with my carrots?

I'd take a husband like him whenever! . Then I just could sit on sofa, watch tv and have cheese puffs while he did chores.

Seriously, we can't know what have been happened behind scenes. I think it can be hard to live with a person who has a serious neurosis. I agree with Cat.

Not for the guy...for he destroyed the poor spyderling's home...for the woman who wanted the lovable little guys around.
