Woman Escapes Grizzly Attack With 25 Caliber Pistol!

Here's her story:

While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my husband we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive.
If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today!
Just one shot to my husband's knee cap was all it took.
The bear got him and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace.

It's one of the best pistols in my collection.

There is another version of that old and jaded joke posted somewhere on this forum, where it's a woman and her soon to be ex who are out walking and a huge alligator is the attacking animal, not a grizzly.

Is this a serious story?!

That is why I no longer hike in the mountains. I used to go out all the time when I lived in Europe. Not anymore. Its just to dangerous between cougars and bears you just never know.

Well, I was always told that if faced with a bear or zombie apocalypse I only had to be faster than the person beside me. I guess if you ain't up on your cardio then you have to get a little more creative.
