    Women Are So Mean

Some of you may know my first wife has a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer. She has been going to the beauty shop to get her hair cut shorter and shorter in preparation for losing it. She started her chemo a couple of weeks ago, and this is what she posted on her journal yesterday...

    Quote:
I just could not help myself...I went to Great Clips to get my hair cut shorter. The same girl has been doing it for the last 2 months, a little at a time. She was busy today, so I said that it was OK for another girl to cut my hair...We did not let the new stylist know that my hair was falling out due to chemo...You should have seen her face when my hair was in her left hand, and she had not even started cutting.. I know it was a mean trick, but we sure got a good laugh out of it.. What can you say....PRICELESS...

Haha! It IS mean, but is IS funny.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife, but I'm so glad to hear she is keeping her spirits up. I've gotten my nurses a couple of times. Laughter may not be a cure but it sure is good for the heart and soul!
Cheers for a great and full recovery; she sounds awesome.

Good for your wife - laugh in the face of adversity!
I would have probably stood up and threatened to sue!

Women?? Oh I am sure as a man you have pulled a few doosies yourself! And as a former hair stylist, not sure what I would have done, lol. One time many years ago a man came in with a comb over and well, while shampooing him the comb over grew to like 10" long hairs. I kid you not! He would weave it back and forth to cover almost a bald head, lol. I kinda wonder what my face looked like then, lol.

Wow, she certainly has a good attitude! It is rare that people stay on freindly terms w an ex spouse - it is nice to see.

Missy May can't you tell by Facemans post that marrying him would be like joining the army. Its and adventure.
Faceman I am glad her attitude has remained positive. Someone should have recorded that and placed it on youtube.
    Shalom
